Robert D. Lupton is a pragmatic visionary. Nearly three decades of frontline urban work have produced in him a realistic understanding of what can and does work in the city. His "reneighboring" concept has been reality-tested in three inner-city neighborhoods. Dr. Lupton and his wife Peggy live in Grant Park, an inner-city neighborhood in Atlanta. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Georgia, is the author of Theirs is the Kingdom, (Harper and Row, 1989) and is the President of FCS Urban Ministries.
