 GlenCastle is an infamous civil war era prison converted into affordable loft apartments for the working poor. Abandoned as a prison in the early 1900's, this symbol of inhumanity was recently transformed into a symbol of Atlanta's compassion for the less-advantaged. Today it is the most affordable, unsubsidized, well managed efficiency apartments in the city.
Mission Statement GlenCastle is a safe, affordable apartment community that provides an entry point back into stable neighborhood living for those priced out of the market for basic necessities.
